So the answer to this question is actually straight forward. But being from VTU its obvious we write stories and never answer to the point. :)

The nice guy who's always just a Friend

Recently i had shared a story on my blog (Yet another love story). This post caused a lot of discussions on twitter. There were a few people who told that the guy in the story resembled a lot like their past. And a few people predicted that their future will be like that guy. Here is another such mail that i received a couple of days back. Thought will share it with you folks.

Bharath Bandh

I still remember the day when i played cricket on the streets of Saligrama(my hometown) in broad daylight. It was an empty street, with just us kids holding coconut branches as our bats and tomato boxes acting as our wickets. We used to run and hide inside whenever a police jeep passed by. I dont remember the reason for the bandh but it was Bharath Bandh that day. Holiday to school and all cousins at home, what more could i ask for. My uncles were discussing the reasons and effects of the bandh and it was all like Tulu to me (i dint know the languages called Greek and Latin existed).

TV Shows

You tend to pick up a lot of things from your stay in hostel. One of those things is addiction to TV shows. Not the typical saas bahu drama or the CID wala suspense (more of comedy actually) but the ones that are aired in the US.

Zomato Restaurant Guide

"Congrats on the hike!! Where is the treat?"

"My cousins came from out of town!! Where do i take them for lunch?"

"No mood to cook!! Is there any restaurant where we can go at the driving distance?"

Why did they vote?

It was a normal hot and humid Wednesday morning. All of a sudden, i could hear fireworks and people screaming everywhere. It took me sometime and twitter to realize that Congress had won the Udupi-Chikmagalur bi-election. And thus began the postmortem of why did BJP lose in Udupi. It was a hectic day for me as i had to roam around to get various work done. I happened to eavesdrop on various conversations. Below is what i heard, categorized in various paragraphs.

BeLLadingaLa Oota (Moon light dinner)

So today i was in conference call that started at 8pm and it dint seem to end even though the scheduled time was 9pm. Luckily i had taken the call from home. I stepped out of the home and saw the large beautiful moon. (One of those moments when you regret not having a good camera). So i got lost in thoughts (blah blah in the conf call :P ). But the first thing that came to my mind was the BeLLadingala Oota that i had attended during my childhood.
