Positivity in Indian Politics!

21st century has seen a drastic change in the Indian political scenario. Call it the rise of youth or influence of social media, we cannot deny that most voters now are clear about why he/she wants to vote for a particular party. There are many things that contributes to giving a positive outlook to a country and I will focus on social media and people’s involvement that I think makes me optimistic about the future of our nation.

Why did they vote?

It was a normal hot and humid Wednesday morning. All of a sudden, i could hear fireworks and people screaming everywhere. It took me sometime and twitter to realize that Congress had won the Udupi-Chikmagalur bi-election. And thus began the postmortem of why did BJP lose in Udupi. It was a hectic day for me as i had to roam around to get various work done. I happened to eavesdrop on various conversations. Below is what i heard, categorized in various paragraphs.
